Aucun souci de santé à signaler chez ce rat adorable jusqu’au 17 septembre 2016.
Retrouvé asthénique au matin.
Sur la radiographie thoracique du véto de garde poumon droit blanc. Suspicion de pneumopathie avec mauvais pronostic.
Mise sous antibiothérapie + corticothérapie.
Légère amélioration.
J’ai consulté mon vétérinaire habituel le 20 septembre qui lui pensait à un problème tumoral.
S’en est ensuivit une lente dégradation avec traitement palliatif (antidouleurs, hydratation, corticothérapie), soins de nursing et câlins.
Décès le 25 septembre dans son sommeil. Une extériorisation de sang rouge vif par la bouche en post mortem laisse penser à une hémorragie brutale sur la tumeur pulmonaire.
